Free admission to LCSD museums

Free admission to LCSD museums

With the “Appreciate Hong Kong” Campaign launched by the government, all museums of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will offer a month of free admission in January.

Museums Participants

Hong Kong Island:

  • Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum in Mid Level
  • Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence in Shau Kei Wan
  • Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware in Admiralty
  • Law Uk Folk Museum in Chai Wan (where the Hakka House will be open from January 8)
  • Fireboat Alexander Grantham Exhibition Gallery in Quarry Bay
  • Oi!, the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre in Admiralty
  • Hong Kong Film Archive in Sai Wan Ho

 

Kowloon:

  • Hong Kong Museum of History in Tsim Sha Tsui East
  • Hong Kong Science Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui East
  • Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum in Cheung Sha Wan
  • Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui

 

N.T.:

  • Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Shatin
  • Hong Kong Railway Museum in Tai Po
  • Sam Tung Uk Museum in Tsuen Wan
  • Sheung Yiu Folk Museum in Sai Kung
  • Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery in Yuen Long

 

Unfortunately, the Hong Kong Museum of Arts and the Hong Kong Space Museum are closed due to the renovation and expansion works. Both museums are not able to participate in the campaign.

Visitors are required to tickets and you may enter them according to the museum’s instruction.
