Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum

 

Do you know is the “Father of the Nation” in the Republic of China? He is Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925). He is a key person who lead up the revolution against the Qing dynasty and brought China into the post-imperial generation.

 

Central is one of the place the consists various footsteps of Dr Sun as he studied medicine at the Hong Kong College of Medicine for Chinese (the forerunner of the University of Hong Kong).

 

Visiting the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum will be a way to understand the history of revolution. Housed in the restored Kom Tong Hall, the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum offering exhibition galleries that trace his life and close relationship with Hong Kong.

 

Apart from the museum, you can also further walk into Dr Sun’s life can be found on the Dr Sun Yat-sen Historical Trail. Information plagues dotted along the way explain interesting landmarks relating to his life in Hong Kong.
