In support of World Post Day, Hongkong Post has announced that 7th October 2016 has been designated as “Love Post Day”. World Post Day marks the anniversary of Universal Postal Union and is celebrated around the world to arouse the significance of postal service.
Love Post Day event is organized for the 13th consecutive year. On 7th October, everyone in the city can simply send a personal letter to a local recipient for free. Special collection boxes will be placed at all post offices. Just drop a letter to the special box on 7th, your message will be delivered on or before 12th October.
Make sure that the letter is sent in a sealed envelope or in form of a postcard. To enjoy this one day only promotion, remember to write “Love Post Day” on the front of the envelope or within the address zone of the postcard.
