Time Square Local Roadside Food Stalls and Exhibition

Hong Kong has long been renowned to be a food paradise with rich gastronomic culture. Although more and more international brands are investing in Hong Kong in recent years, the craving for local traditional snacks has never truly faded out. For local Hongkongers, eating snacks is not only for sensation and satisfaction, but also for recalling the best childhood memory in the past.

This time, Time Square is going to organize a local snack exhibition for everyone to experience the heart-warming collective memory between the 60s to the 80s. The exhibition showcases a set of precious collection on gastronomy of Hong Kong by Mr. Alan Cheung, the President of Hong Kong Collectors Society. The collection includes the photos, menus, mooncake pamphlets, match boxes from the old restaurants, etc.

Every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday, between 2pm to 7pm during the exhibition period, a donation of HK$20 to End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation will return you three snack samples at your choice. The choice of snacks is different every day:

30/4, 1/5, 2/5, 4/6, 5/6:

Egg Puff, Maltose Cracker, Glutinous Rice Ball, Dragon’s Beard Candy

7/5, 8/5, 21/5, 22/5:

Put Chai Ko, Glutinous Rice Ball, White Sugar Cake, Sesame Roll

14/5, 15/5, 28/5, 29/5:

Egg Tart, Pineapple Bun, Deuk Deuk Candy, Candy and Coconut Wrap

How can you miss this interesting and meaningful event!
